AH Wireless Adapter Problem – Fujitsu Support Forum

I can sit next to my router and the speed is up and down. Can I upgrade my wireless adapter to higher model?

The Centrino’s just seem to have lots of problems, google brings up plenty of them. I contacted the representative and asked ii they can install another model of Intel Wireless-N series adapter. It never settles at one speed. Also copying files between my Lifebook and other PCs in the network is slow, It is notable that the bluetooth of the adapter is working well, I am using Windows 7 Professional and I am sure that there is no issue with my OS as I have reinstalled it many times.

Webpages started loading initially, but suddenly requests started to time out, and that continued until restarting the wifi-adapter. First of all I thought this may be a visual bug and is normal but it really affects the performance of the network mostly when I want to transfer large files on the network which I have no issue with other wireless devices on the network. Did the service store tried to reproduce the problem with their own wlan network so that you know if the problem also appears at another wlan network?

Fujitsu LIFEBOOK AH531 laptop Wi-Fi device drivers

My Amilo Pro connects zh531 the wireless network on my desk with no issue and works fine and the speed and signal is fixed at 54Mbps. My internet is 30mb cable and with the USB I can download at fullspeed, The inbuilt adaptor is very eratic. And then wifi worked perfectly. On the fujitsu website there are two different versions and maybe also on the Intel Website itself.

If not, give it a try. They MUST consider free wireless adapter fujigsu. Also I have a WiFi enabled phone which works well at the same place. Even plugged into AC, even sitting next to the router. Also they say taht fluctuation was exist with new card but it is normal as they can see such fluctuation on some other AH notebooks. Even if I could connect it had a awful signal and speed fluctuation.

I’m an531 sure this is related to your issue, and maybe you have already tried this. I’m now trying to find a different make combi wifi card to try.

Is this adapter poor totally? Fujitsu should consider a fix for this issue for all sold notebooks. I replaced the N card with the next card in the range the N this card allows 2. I’ve put the N back in, and continue to use a USB wireless adaptor which is far more stable.

No WiFi networks – Fujitsu Lifebook on Windows 7 – Super User

Also a week I replaced my router with a I have now installed the lated driver for my wireless adapter from Intel’s website. Also doing online speed tests very erractic results compared to the USB adaptor which gives consistant high results.

We all have paid a lot of money on our notebooks. The wonderful part is that when the Antenna lines come to 3 the speed goes upper to 48 or 54 which is what I cannot really understand.
